Stainless Steel Orifice Plates

            Orifice plates are used to control the volume of stormwater entering the local council system. The plate
            is fitted to the pit wall covering the outlet pipe.  This creates a vacuum on the downstream side of the
            plate and prevents surging within the line. The size of the orifice is calculated by your hydraulics
            engineer by volumes supplied by the local council. Most local councils now inspect existing
            installations to ensure home owners do not remove these plates.
