Surcharge Grates and frames

           Generally used in ponding basins over drainage pits where a high volume of stormwater 
                  ingresses and egresses over a short period during storms and their abatement. These
                  units are made to order only so lead time needs to be factored in. Usually a class 'B' Grate
                  and frame is required but we can supply whatever load and size specified.
                  There are several methods of fixing i.e. cast in with pit using tie in bars, bolted on to top or
                  side of pit wall so bolt down lugs are required or we can cast into a concrete surround to
                  suit the installed pit.
