Surcharge Grates and Frames

                        Generally used in ponding basins over drainage pits where a high volume of stormwater 
                               ingresses and egresses over a short period during storms and their abatement. These
                               units are made to order only so lead time needs to be factored in. Usually a class 'B' Grate
                               and frame is required but we can supply whatever load and size specified.
                    

                       There are several methods of fixing i.e. cast into the in-situ concrete pit using tie bars welded
                               to the bottom of the legs, bolt down to top or side of pit wall or we can cast into a concrete
                               surround to suit the installed pit.
